Search Larimer County Court Records
State District Court and County Court schedules are searched through the Colorado Judicial Branch Docket Search. That search is best for hearing dates, courthouse settings, and daily docket checks. It is not a full image portal for pleadings, orders, sentencing papers, or certified copies. For those records, the Larimer County Clerk of Court uses the local records email and the statewide court record/document request form.
The search works best when the case type is clear first. District Court covers felony cases, divorce, probate, juvenile, mental health, and higher civil matters. County Court covers misdemeanors, traffic, infractions, small claims, and county-level civil claims. Fort Collins Municipal Court and other city courts are separate, so municipal citations or local warrants may not appear in the state court docket search.

Larimer County Court System

Larimer County Court Locations
The main state courthouse is the Larimer County Justice Center in downtown Fort Collins. It houses Combined Courts, Clerk of Court customer service, collections, the Court Resource Center, and state courtroom operations. Loveland County Court operates from the Loveland Police and Courts Building. Larimer County Clerk Records Split
The Clerk of Court is part of the Colorado Judicial Branch and handles state trial-court case files. The Larimer County Clerk and Recorder is a separate county office led by Tina Harris and handles recording, elections, vehicle licensing, marriage and civil-union licensing, and certified copies of recorded documents.
