Why We Built This Site
Colorado gives the public access to many court and government records, but Larimer County records do not live in one place. State District Court and County Court files are handled by the Clerk of Court through the Colorado Judicial Branch. Recorded documents and marriage licenses are handled by the Larimer County Clerk and Recorder. Jail custody information comes from the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, while Fort Collins Municipal Court and other city courts may handle city traffic, ordinance, parking, and municipal warrant matters.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Colorado court, Larimer County office, sheriff’s office, municipal court, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, address, or public-record rule listed here is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point to the right office, but the document has to come from that office.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When a visitor uses one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep the site available. We do not control what those tools charge or what appears in their results.
